Night time video with my 5D Mark ii

While travelling with my Canon 5D Mark ii I got to put it through it’s paces. Treking up and down mountains in hot and humid conditions, using it for both photography and videography.

While on the island of Koh Phi Phi I got to really put it’s night time video capabilities to the test. Using my trusty “nifty fifty” 50mm F1.8 lens and some manual settings I made this video of the fire shows on the beach at the Stones Bar. I have to say I am very impressed with the quality. The colours are vivid and true. There’s very little noise and the detail with 1080p HD is fantastic.
